"We stayed in the Rosa Blanca room. We loved the view and the beautiful art work on the walls in the bathroom. The circular stair case was unique and the 270 degree view of San Jose was great. We thought the staff was friendly, Carlos at the front desk helped us with many arrangments. The wait staff in the restaurant gave us excellent service."

"The individual chalets were adorable. The breakfast included was hardy and delish. They are also a restraunt and the dinner food was excellent. They are in a convenient location to get to La Paz waterfall gardens and Poas volcano. Used their laundry service that was wonderful. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Jacamar room which was very homely with an additional sitting area and fireplace and small enclosed garden which was constantly visited by hummingbirds. Although the property has its own restaurant it is in close proximity to other eateries. It is also in a good lication for visiting the volcano and La Paz Waterfall and Gardens. "

Despite the fact that our plane was delayed multiple times and we ended up coming in at a VERY unhappy hour, they gave us a shuttle from the airport, which is quite close, and also provided a breakfast in advance of our early departure. "This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel close to the airport. They offer an airport shuttle for $5 (only leaving from the hotel) and breakfast is available for $11. The hotel works well for a quick overnight stay in San Jose before flying out or when flying back into the country and not wanting to make the long drive home at night. The hotel is behind a tall motorized gate and also within a small cul de sac that is also gated so it feels safe. We did not partake of the breakfast so we can't...
