"The front desk staff at check-in was very unfriendly. One of them staff memebrs warmed up towards the end of our check-in. One remained curt and rude to other guests throughout the check-in. The bar tender for the complimentary bar was also fairly short and and rude both evenings. The first night he was a bit friendlier after the initial interaction but we were taken aback by the unkind staff. The staff in the mornings were very friendly and welcoming. "The rooms were redone somewhat recently. They are large rooms compared to more "modern" hotels. There is a bar and restaurant on property. The food was limited in choice but well prepared and tasty. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was turned off for the season (March) so we had to open the outside sliding glass door to the balcony to cool the room and make it comfortable for sleeping.
