"The hot tub after a cold and snowy hike was everything!"

"This rental was our "home base" during a ski trip to Whiteface (only a few minute drive from the mountain). Everything about this property is well thought out and makes you feel like you're at "home away from home." Owners were available to answer questions beforehand and even popped over during our stay when we had an issue with one of the circuit breakers. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! My entire family loved it and can't wait to return! Still talking about it a month later!"

"This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. We had camp fires lake side at night and wrapped the weekend with a Superbowl party! All in all a great winter trip. Would love to come back in...

"We had a wonderful stay at Skylight. While it was snowing pretty steadily when we arrived, the walkway was shoveled and we had immediate contact from Jason to help us park in the right place since the snowbanks hid all the signs! The cabin was perfect for us and our two boys, ages 4 and 7. We all cuddled in the loft for a movie on the “magic tv” Saturday night after watching the Winter Carnival fireworks from the dock (it was too cold to haul the boys into town). "Very cozy cabin. Bathroom perhaps a bit TOO cozy. Which means it was lovely, but very small. Many stubbed toes on the shower lip, but I concede that not much could be done about that. There were a few cobwebs in the rafters, some sawdust on the top of the bathroom mirror, but overall lovely. "

"Brookside is Our favorite property to rent in Lake Placid. It’s absolutely beautiful, cozy and well appointed. Kitchen is spacious & very user friendly for cooking meals, had everything we needed. "A adorable, cozy cottage perfect for a quiet get away. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into town with great views of the lake. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities within a short drive. "

"We had a challenge finding it in a snow storm because google maps was not accurate and there was no sign. But is was definitely worth finding!! The house is beautiful. Cozy but spacious. Location and views amazing. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the trash limitations. Just wish we had known this before hand so we could come prepared. That being said, it was only a slight glitch. We had a fantastic time. "
