They kept an open line of communication with us the entire time, made sure we didn’t need anything, and even let us know to listen for the barred owl! They have paid attention to every single detail. "We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "

"This is a tiny bare bones cabin. Hardly room for a couple. No stove or place to cook. There was microwave and sink. The bed was large but mattress sagged in middle. The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty. We did not receive emails so we had a lot of trouble getting in. However, owners were subsequently available by phone and were responsive if we had problem. The location is excellent right...
