I spent a night here, as it is not too far from the Université Laval. I had a meeting there the following morning and wanted something different from a hotel. The house is ecclectic as it is as the name of the place suggests very "Pirate themed" this includes the entrance and kitchen area and even the bathroom. As well, there is a backyard area with a nice "oasis" including a waterfall and a nice water garden, as well as a small pirate boat area! The room area I occusied was a nice bedroom with a salon area with a television and small fridge as well. The set up for morning breakfast was help yourself continental, make your own coffee, take you you want from the fridge. there were bagels, toast, different jams/peanut butter, cereals, some fruit. I had a nice quiet breakfast to myself in the morning and enjoyed the quiet oasis area before heading off to the university. It was the first time I have been at a B&B and not been served by the hosts, but I did not mind this at all, and I had a nice breakfast with what was provided by the hosts. I enjoyed the welcome by the owner, Antonin, and his wife who were pleasant and welcoming.
It is a different kind of B&B experience, but I enjoyed my stay.
