"We had a phenomenal stay at the Mai Tai. Not only were the views incredible; the room super romantic (with a very cool outdoor tropical shower); and the location perfect for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, and the Daintree Rainforest; Andre (the host) was so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a serene and romantic stay in the most gorgeous rainforest location."

"we had a ground floor room with a patio that we could sit out and enjoy the sound of the ocean and birds. the location across from the ocean and close to shops and restaurants was convenient for walking. the breakfast was lovely and there were bikes, umbrellas and chairs for guests to use. recommend and look forward to a return trip. "This is a lovely resort but it’s tired and it has been very trafficked the rooms need an upgrade or even a paint furniture is groty and needs replacing and everything felt low exspecially the bathroom and toilet and couch was really low and uncomfortable the bedroom mattress needs to be replaced Customer service from staff was fantastic exspecially in the morning for breakfast the manager was lovely and onto every need you needed however the Day spa manager needs some customer service training...

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were excellent and the services were professional. However, the property was a little tired. The glass panel that separated the shower room and the toilet seat was too small/narrow. It's impossible not to have water spilled (overflowing) onto the bathroom floor. Parking was easy. Its only a 5 min drive away to the Port Douglas town centre."

"This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!"

"The property itself is exceptional, the gym, spa, pools etc are great. Restaurants were amazing. We may have gone in an off peak season so I am thinking the resort was understaffed as the cleanliness was lacking. For example our bed was made and towels replaced daily however the actually bathroom itself did not appear to be cleaned daily, glasses weren’t cleaned etc. we left towel on the Sun lounges at the end of the day and the following day they weren’t even removed. Moreso a reflection on...
