"Large room with kitchenette and separate bedroom. Excellent location. In the centre of the 'tourist area', steps to numerous bars and restaurants. Grocery store / bottle store 3 minute walk. Covered secure parking. Our balcony faced the rear of the property, where construction is underway on a new building. Not a problem for us (they advised us before our arrival of the construction to allow us to change) but, it may block the view when completed. Great place to stay in Port Douglas."

"The property grounds are kept in immaculate condition and are beautiful ,tranquil and inviting. The interior of the accommodation is equally well kept. Very clean! "The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy and we were given a high chair for the baby. The room was really nice and big and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was beautiful and warm. The hotel is so close to the beach and offer toys for the kids to borrow. The only downsides are there is no lift so we had to get all our suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs, and we did not fit in the underground parking so parking was out the back, further from our room with our luggage,...

"This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!"
