"Hotel is newly renovated. Beautiful nautical style rooms. Great pool outback with intercoastal view. Pool is heated. They are renovating a restaurant on property. But have a great seaside bar with food, which was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. Can do taco Tuesday. $10 for two tacos and $10 house margaritas. Also have the Water Taxi that stops there if you want to catch a ride on that."

"The best thing about the property was that it was right on the beach. The amenities such as the pools, jacuzzi, outdoor grills and general grounds were immaculate. The staff obviously takes great pride in caring for this 60 year old resort. The price was also very fair. One problem was that the Murphy bed in our Studio unit was that the AC was within one foot of the side of the head of the bed which then blew directly in the face of the person sleeping on that side of the bed. "We love those 1950s style hotels. Small, affordable, and tons of character. Location of Palms is perfect. We’ve stayed in Delray, Deerfield, and Boca. Compared to these places, Pompano seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Entire blocks are being torn down and high rise developments are going in. The beaches were pretty, the public areas were exceptionally maintained. Tons of restaurants and coffee spots. The staff at Palms was very attentive. The grounds looked freshly updated and...
