"A very sketchy area. We couldn’t even go in to check into the hotel. We had to do it from a window. It was late at night and the hotel receptionist wouldn’t let us in. It’s probably one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed in. Tv remote didn’t work. Very noisy. And overall super sketchy. I slept with my pepper spray under my pillow. No. I’m not joking. I do not recommend. "

"I could not access WiFi, elevator was out of order, the tv is not positioned where you can lay in bed and watch tv. The staff however were very helpful, fast, and friendly. "

"We love those 1950s style hotels. Small, affordable, and tons of character. Location of Palms is perfect. We’ve stayed in Delray, Deerfield, and Boca. Compared to these places, Pompano seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Entire blocks are being torn down and high rise developments are going in. The beaches were pretty, the public areas were exceptionally maintained. Tons of restaurants and coffee spots. The staff at Palms was very attentive. The grounds looked freshly updated and...
