"It’s a historic hotel in the old town of Placerville. The staff were very friendly. We had parking for our car. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but the room was quiet. It was great to be in walking distance of shops and wonderful restaurants! "

"This house was amazing. Beautiful yard, amazing views, and located just far enough from town to have everything you need nearby and still feel a bit secluded. Bob had something cooking in the smoker which filled the yard with something delicious! Both he and Jean were a pleasure to meet and chat with a bit. All in all a great trip and awesome property!"

"Overall a good stay. We stayed for one night before heading to Tahoe and found everything to be just as expected. Staff (1 person) was clearly overwhelmed during breakfast hours but he did his best to serve the guests. Breakfast options were limited and the pancake machine wasn’t working so kids weren’t as happy but there were enough options considering it’s a “free” breakfast. We’d stay again we needed to. "
