"We did a last minute ski trip to Heavenly and decided to stay here. Very affordable and perfect for families. The room was huge and didn't realize it came with a full kitchen. We didn't use it but a nice surprise. The Free wine hour was great as was the Hot Cocoa Bar for the kids. The Breakfast was plenty and parking was $20 and easy. Very satisfied. "

"I was incredibly concerned when we arrived at the hotel because it was clearly a renovation site but thankfully the room was really pretty and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the young woman at the check in ( and check out) was super sweet and friendly. Great experience over all. We will definitely return again. "

"There were a lot of people and only one hot tub was working. On our last night (thank goodness} we were awoken at 4:00 am with the hammering that was taking place right outside our windows as they were putting up the carnival rides!! We were quite surprised to awake to find a Ferris wheel that we could almost reach out and touch just out of our kitchen window! If we get back to Tahoe at this time of year, we will know to ask for a room away from the front of the property, other than the early wake up all was good."

"I’ll start with the bad: mandatory paid valet. I was very irritated to pull up to the hotel only to find that I had to valet my car. There is no other option and it costs $35 a day. Either they should include it in the price or say up front. The hotel was very large, we didn’t mind walking a lot, but it was very far to our room from the front desk. They scheduled one maid service but we could have asked for more I guess, not sure if that’s an extra charge (3 nights stay). The good (stayed in a one bedroom villa): the room was very clean and well stocked. There were 4 of each small/large plates, bowls, cups, glasses, etc. There was a small frying pan, small baking pan, corningwear baking dishes, Tupperware, all basic kitchen cooking utensils (including can opener), etc. The washer and dryer were right in the room too. Dishwasher was great, and they provided a pack of 4 dishwashing pods. The bed and couch bed were reasonably comfortable, moderately firm, nothing special. It was nice that the bathroom could be accessed from the entry or the bedroom. We might stay again but the mandatory valet was a big pain, and I despise surprise charges. Especially when it raised our total cost by 12%!!"
