"We really enjoyed this apartment and found it filled our needs in almost every way. The location was outstanding (near freeways, near great north Oakland/Berkeley neighborhoods). The bedrooms and fold out bed – including the door and privacy curtains in the living room - made for 3 nicely functional bedrooms. The kitchen, laundry room, breakfast nook: all great. Only critique: reading lamps! This made the fold out bedroom especially awkward (thankfully I had my headlamp for reading in bed). But...

"We had a very nice stay at this home in old Tiburon. It was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and ferry in downtown. The house was well stocked with the necessities, clean, and cozy! Check-in/check-out was easy and communication with property owner was great!"

"Nice, homey stay. We were visiting to attend a family member’s 60th in Oakland. The property was comfortable and quiet. We were able to reach Amber quickly when we needed to check on something with her. We will stay here again when we visit the area again."

"Lovely spacious private historic homeplace, just the right updates. Plus deck, yard. Easy access, lots of great eats. All the amenities! You’ll love it!"

"Perfect home for a family and friends gathering. Nice kitchen, dining room and living room on first floor with two bedrooms and a bath. Back yard and front yard are dog friendly with fenced yards. Two great bedrooms with baths upstairs. It's close to everything but far enough away to relax and have an enjoyable time."

"We were a group of 8 friends staying for wine tasting and pool time. The weather didn't quite allow for pool time, but we did really enjoy the firepit, ping pong and cornhole among other activities! This sweet and charming property has SO much space! We had more than enough room to all come together in the various different gathering spaces or spread out for a little privacy. We all had a blast and definitely plan to come back. Next time, we'll stay a little longer."

"The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention "

"We were looking for a place with several bedrooms for our group and the Castle was great. It's a funky little place which perfectly fit our needs. Leslie is an awesome host, super nice, she made us feel so welcome. It was so nice to be able to chill in the hot tub after a long day!"

"We loved our stay in San Francisco. The location of this home was great. We were near the Golden Gate Park and tons of food and coffee places. We would just have a plan for the day and start walking. The host was easy to get ahold of if we needed to know anything. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. The place was so clean. I would recommend this place to anyone going to San Francisco or Wine country. Nancy Stivers"

"This property was located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It was an easy walk to some awesome restaurants. Howard gave us a great welcome packet with suggestions for neighborhood spots and a map to make it easier. The central location was a great home base for exploring San Francisco."
