"The room was of a decent size. Wifi-5 GBP charge, cash only, acceptable for the price, but would have been nice to know needed cash beforehand. Also, had to ask for another towel, when the room was booked for 2 people. Corridors with rubbish, bed linen. Not the best maintained property, but you get what you pay for."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Georgian House Hotel, especially as a family who loves Harry Potter! We stayed in the Family Wizard Chamber, which was adorable—the kids loved the themed games, coins, and gifts. The beds were fun, and the overall atmosphere was magical. While it did get a bit too hot in the room, we were able to easily find how to adjust the heat from the radiator online (the staff leaves in the evening, so we didn’t have anyone to ask). The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! They assisted with carrying our luggage up and down the steep stairs during both check-in and check-out—five loads in total! The breakfast was fantastic, offering a variety of options to start the day right. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a charming, memorable spot for families, especially Harry Potter fans!"
