"This hotel was magnificent. The building, room, grounds, staff and food. I had booked Staindrop Lodge which was disgusting. I checked out within half an hour and booked Whitley Hall which was amazing. I contacted HOTELS.COM for a refund for Staindrop Lodge but they called the Manager and unbelievably took his word and refused me a refund. Wont be using HOTELS.COM again. "

"Brand new hotel so ask clean and tidy. Very comfortable room and bed. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. The rooftop bar is brilliant but we didn't eat at any good the restaurants."
