"Great rooms. Exactly what we needed. Staff are very friendly and locals were too. Rooms were very clean and good size. Beds were comfy and easy access direct to car park from 1st floor, made it easy with our dogs. Fox Valley Shopping Park was 5-10 minutes walk and had some nice places for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely use this as a base again, when bringing our dogs to the moors. "

I checked out within half an hour and booked Whitley Hall which was amazing. I contacted HOTELS.COM for a refund for Staindrop Lodge but they called the Manager and unbelievably took his word and refused me a refund. Wont be using HOTELS.COM again. "
