"The hotel was really nice and is central to the location. During the day it’s ok to walk around but one needs to be careful of the surroundings but the old town is a fun place to go around. At night it’s not a good idea to walk just take Uber. The staff was super friendly and it’s a great place to stay to explore Salvador "
