"Since we arrived tried to contact Expedia that we were upset about the room but due to poor internet connection could not get thru. Had to walk steep stairs to the 3rd floor, of an old building, huffing n puffing, rattan on chairs tattered, dilapidated mattress, filthy bacteria laden string to pull flush, toilet cover cracked, insecure seat, lumpy pillows, old stained mirror, breakfast laid out in old plastic containers.Horrible! "Beautiful building in the middle of the historic quarter. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated room. The hotel staff was very attentive and made sure we were safe at all times. Select the hotel breakfast, you won’t find any cheaper or better. Even the minibar prices were fair. Great suggestions for areas to visit and places to eat too. Use the hotel services for trips and tours around, can’t stress this enough. A wonderful and vibrant city but not easy to walk around as a tourist. "

"Amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the receptionists to the lady preparing breakfast, to the cleaning staff. The rooftop is a great place to read, relax, work, wifi is working very well. Clean shared spaces, clean rooms. Only blot, the bedsheets which I found with marks, although clearly washed. It would be perfect if the sheets and pillowcases were new. Convenient location, just steps from the road where buses are."
