"The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and the house is at the end of a dead-end street, so even better. The apartment is one of four in the house, and very well appointed for a few days or longer. It has everything you need to visit the city, included a washing machine. We had a rental car, which would normally park on the street, but the owner was generous and allowed us to park in the garage as no one else was using it at the time. "We liked the convenience of a nearby well stocked supermarket and proximity to major street with bus service. Bring your earplugs though as the sounds of the street/cars are quite loud at night. All in all we had lots of room for us and the apartments’ kitchen was better outfitted than expected. Despite a snag in our checkin we would come back and stay here"

"Great views from the living area lots of windows but the unit had no Air Conditioning. During the day with that amount of windows in the main living area AC is a must, it got hot inside. Rooms were good but again no AC sleeping was a little uncomfortable. Overall ok for a short stay but adding AC alone would have made the stay go from average to great."

Walking distance to Teminal Atlantico Norte...improtant to us as we were traveling onward to Cahuita. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment if you want to travel around the city. Plenty of soda's and small eateries close by. Great for a few nights to really get to know the history of Costa Rica and San Juan. The apartment meets all basic needs...
