"Great place, kinda funky, well equipped kitchen. Awesome little deck area with table and chairs. Snorkels and masks and fins and floats available. Easy access to beautiful cliffs for wave watching. Nice grounds with flowers and trees, Hawaiian setting.. We stayed 3 different places and this was the best and also most affordable."

All the residents we met were very nice. . Definitely use the 395 Hualani St address in the GPS. Much easier to park.Owner was very prompt to answer any questions. "Living room was extremely hot in the afternoon. Parking is very limited. Right off of a main road. Underneath neighbors pounded on the floor if us heavy set people walked too hard. My daughter slipped and fell and was crying so they pounded again scaring us. Shower had no pressure. The rooms were nice and cool with portable ac units, beds comfy. "Nice enough but surrounding area is a little rough. Homeless, transients, and other shady individuals right outside the patio. Glad our car didn’t get broken into. I understand host can’t fix the area so it is what it is… just be aware. Also I don’t mind picking up the rental, doing dishes, cleaning out fridge, and taking out trash but what is the 125 cleaning fee?? It should be one or the other. "

"We didn’t spend too much time in the unit—mostly used it as a home base and place to sleep, but it was excellent for our purpose. Clean and well stocked, and the directions/instructions were clear. Nice area, lots of hiking and things to see nearby (short drives). The beach is harder to get to than a quick glance at the map might indicate, but it’s a nice walk. Check out Mr Ed’s Bakery "
