"We love to relax at this resort. If you want to just lounge around in the rainforest, this is a great place to do it. The cabins are modest, but the facilities are a little more updated. "We loved our short stay at The Kokoro. Would stay for an extended time if we were staying in the area longer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate onsite and enjoyed our meals. The natural spa on-site was a plus. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. We were able to see frogs, sloths and many birds right on the grounds, with the friendly assistance from the groundskeeper. Our lodge has a great view of the volcano, right from our front window."

"The property was right off the main road which made it convenient to get to. Parking could be a bit tight depending on the day. The property had a restaurant and there was sushi outside also. The property was otherwise not walkable to get much else. Rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The bungalow we stayed in was wonderful and looked out at the Volcano. Pools were clean. The gonna were well manicured and looked after. "

"Selim was WONDERFUL! Helped us arrange tours and transport around town. Warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. There were sloths hanging out in the trees around the hotel when we were there. Room was clean had a fabulous view. A place to hang and store clothes would have been helpful. "

"The property was fabulous. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was nicely furnished. We didnt cook, but all the necessities were there. The grounds were amazing! There were wonderful hiking trails and a lookout where you could see to the Pacific Ocean. There was a hydroponic garden where you could pick vegetables. My grandson loved the hammock on the deck. The whole experience was so peaceful. I highly recommend this property! "
