"The place was very cute but the check in for us was a nightmare. Could not get in contact with anyone and couldn’t find the exact location. Hotels.com was on the verge of finding us another place because nobody would answer the phone at the number provided when luckily another property owner knew of the place and helped us find it. Should just say in the listing to check in at Mar hotel or Don Taco."

Serenity House. Swimming Pool & Arenal Volcano View

"The house and pool were great but that view, you just can’t beat! Everything was there that we needed. Just wish the road was a little easier to get up to the house but otherwise all good. Check in process was good and Ericka and Agustin took great care of us. "

"We stayed in June for 4 nights, it was a large family gathering. The house and garden are a conglomerate of multiple rooms on the side of a hill that are not connected to each other but you can access from outside. Each room has its own balcony view and charm. The garden had lots of flora and intricate pathways, zig zagging to the rooms. When it rains it can be wet and slippery; it was the rainy season. "We loved this house! It was so beautiful with all the unique wood accents, had space for our kids to play, was very clean, and felt like we were nestled right in the middle of the jungle. Though it was only a 5 min drive to get to town and the main restaurants. We wished we'd stayed here longer. Daniela was very helpful with tour information and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was very qell eqipped, as were the bathroom supplies. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We loved this place, and would definitely stay here again! The bathrooms were well-appointed with extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The shared space had everything you need for cooking. All the appliances were new, and well maintained. Included a washer and dryer, and even a swimsuit spinner. The host was very responsive. The pictures don’t do this place justice! It was incredible! We saw sloths and other wildlife on the property."

"We received a very welcoming from Ken and his son Juan Diego. Juan was very helpful for connecting us to make visiting Monteverde easier. And we loved Bella and Coco. The house could use little more lighting some lightbulbs are burn out, location is great not too far from town. . "

"The house was perfect. We had our two kids (3 & 5) and my dad with us and the three bedroom house was great. Well furnished, clean, and the host Daniela was amazing. "Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights."

"Our host Diego was very helpful with giving us information about the area. The house was absolutely beautiful and well kept. Could accommodate large families as it’s very spacious. Beautifully landscaped yard with outdoor eating area and bbq. The house was stocked with everything you might need. We could use their double car garage. We had a very enjoyable stay!"

"Rockstar is a gorgeous property, well appointed, comfortable, clean, secure, and has beautiful views. The best thing about this property is Sky and his attention to detail! He was amazing with directions and was highly communicative as we were arriving. That made us feel so comfortable. He provided some snacks and food so when we came in late, we had something to eat and then coffee and breakfast food for the morning. "Absolutely adorable cabins with the necessities to make your own meals if you desire. The employees were so helpful and nice. We felt like we were at summer camp, in the best way possible. In my opinion, this was way better than any hotel. "

"My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and the property was excellent! The cabin was clean, with a beautiul view of this little aritificial pond that had ducks and fish in it. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"This place was absolutely beautiful and the service superb. Jose, Silvio, Marcos, Sebastian, Juan, and Carlos were all amazing. I recommend Arenal Manoa 10/10 the food was good I only hate we weren’t able to book the spa which wasn’t their fault they were booked. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful nature like vibe then this is your place. "

"This was an absolutely wonderful day, wish we could have had more time, but our 3 nights there were stellar. The property is up in the hills, and overlooks the Arenal volcano. Spectacular views from the main lobby and even from our rooms! There are multiple hot springs and pools on site, in 3 different groupings, and all were situated beautiful with food options and bathrooms and towel stations nearby. Delicious food, including sushi and Italian options. The drinks were delicious, especially from one bartender named Paola who also went above and beyond to take care of us. We ran into her every day and her wit and positive attitude were just wonderful. And lastly, the spa is small but stunning, i had a great massage and scrub which were both super relaxing. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is well located. Area is beautiful and well maintained. Pools are amazing. Pool bar is exceptionnal. Maybe more attention on the rooms...small renewals could improve our general feedback (no water at a moment, bath in bad shape). Staff is exceptionnal."
