"If you go to the Big Island, this is where you want to stay. The view is the best. We saw sea turtles every morning. It was less than 10 minutes from a good-sized farmer's market. All the stuff in Hilo is just 30 minutes away. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Lots of beach gear! Thank you."

"This was a perfect accommodation for us. Very specious one bedroom condo with full kitchen and useful amenities. Very clean, nicely decorated with high quality mattress and bedding. "This home is nice for an affordable base near the park if you want the flexibility of being able to relax in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well appointed as is the open design living and dining room. Having access to a full size washer and dryer is a huge bonus given the amount of rain on this side of the island. "Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

"Loved this beautiful, handcrafted home tucked into an amazing rainforest. Loads of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Sitting outside listening to the night sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable. This house has lots of interesting artwork—so I will say that if you have an inquisitive 4-year-old in your group, you will have to keep vigilant watch!! Getting to the national park and Hilo was easy. "

"This was a lovely place to stay near Volcano, HI. Great location near the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano which had some good restaurants. It was clean and was stocked with everything we needed for the time we were there."

"The hotel was wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean and comfortable although the heater didn't throw out enough heat to take the chill out of the air. Fyi there was not a tv but we didn't miss it. There is also a hot tub but we didnt use it."

"SCP Hilo has the absolute best service and amenities, including free bike and paddle board usage as available. They also have an incredible pool, a wonderful garden, and a very unique and serene coy fish pond. SCP is also located within walking distance of many wonderful places to visit, such as Coconut Island and Liliʻuokalani Gardens. There are also a lot of fantastic food venues in walking distance, but you will likely find yourself returning to the Coconut Grill more often than not. The Vietnamese restaurant, New Saigon, located nearby is also fantastic. Lastly, there are a few bus stops in short walking distance, and since the buses are free, why rent a car at all? My wife and I had a fantastic late honeymoon here, and I can't recommend them enough! Book a stay at SCP and see what we mean! Aloha!"

"If you are looking for a cool place to stay in Volcano, look no further. I cannot say enough about how much I loved staying here. Awesome tropical vibe will make you feel like you are in another country. Be sure to book room #103 for the view outside your window which is an entire wall of glass yet very private.. Self check in and no staff on duty but super easy check in and everything you need is right there for you."
