"A great one night stay. We were given a free upgrade. Room and bathroom very nice. Upgraded room wasn't in 'the prison' though so lacked the charm of the older part of the hotel. Staff very pleasant. A bit of an issue with breakfast: everyone's food took a long time to arrive. Restaurant manager refunded everyone's breakfast bill without having to be asked. "

"What an exceptional property! We had an amazing stay here. Staff were so attentive and did everything they could to make our stay extra special. The room was spectacularly done up and we loved the complementary Prosecco in the library. The room was big, and lots of modern features; including cafetière coffee, smart TV and much much more. The view of the colleges was also very special. The only thing we found was the room was very hot! Be prepared to open the windows."

"The hotel was so clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed and more. Every member of staff that we came across was really friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and we had a beautiful, huge, cloud-like bed. The pool was lovely and clean. The filtered bottles of water are a really lovely touch, along with the honeycombe on arrival. I have dietry requirements, which were catered to wonderfully for breakfast and when we ordered room service (which was yum!)"
