Lovely room even though could do with updating but it suited my needs, comfy beds and crisp bedding just what I needed whilst my husband was in surgery at John Radcliffe, nice friendly staff too. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived, no one on reception, and the staff at restaurant that shares premises asked me to ring the man for him to come. Bad start. Once in room, it was clean but worn out. Lots of unfinished fixing jobs around the room. And it was cold, a space heater provided but not up to job of warming room.

Quite dated hotel with lovely manager . Sup comfortable bed and smashing shower . Walk all day in Oxford . Walk home to hotel . Plenty of dining and beverage options . We had a great comfortable stay

The Gentleman at the desk was very helpful and pleasant. The Hotel itself was clean. The Hotel was poorly furnished and in desperate need of money spent on it and all furniture needs replacing.

Everything appeared adequate initially, service was good but there was bed bugs in the room which ruined the stay as a woke up the next morning with multiple bites.

Cozy stay
Room was very cozy but fine if you’re traveling by yourself. The staff always answered their phone when I needed something. Right across the street from a bus stop that takes you right into Oxford city. Lots of restaurants around. It was a little noisy outside over the weekend but not bad or you can keep the window closed.
