"The blossom hotel was central to a lot of things, easy from the Kyoto station 15 min ride. Or you can ride the subway too. We walked everywhere except took the bus from the hotel to the older city of Gion for less than $2 USD. The shopping is great 20 min walk to high end department stores. Lots of great restaurants. "

"Very clean hotel and across the street from a subway station. Only thing I can knock them for is the washer/dryer machines they have on site. They are coin op and the additional drying functions are only by 30 min increments. Did 2.5 hours worth of drying for my small load of clothes but still damp so I gave up. Gave up and threw my clothes in the luggage anyway. "
