"Great, small hotel in a sleepy very small city. Otaru is absolutely fantastic. Amazing food, but don’t expect late nights out. Clean, comfortable room and a super helpful staff. Ski room was a nice feature. No free parking, but for a city, and it wasn’t too pricey. 1000 yen/night. The only thing it’s missing is an onsen, but there are a few public ones close by.
