"Great staff! Very polite, accommodating and welcoming. The Ryokan was very clean and quiet. The onsen wa great too! I know it’s public but the times I went to the Onsen, was the only one there. The traditional Japanese breakfast was also great. It compliments the traditional Japanese stay I wanted to experience. "

We stayed in a Superior Japanese room, 4 in our family and it was spacious to sleep us all in, as we were out most of the day as it's an easy walk to Kyoto station and surrounds. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and gracious, making our stay welcoming and easy. Recommend and will stay there again when in Kyoto."

"We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very nice. We had a couple of issues with the room but they fixed them quickly. We are a family of 4 and found the bed space ok but it would've been better to have a bunk bed instead of the 2 singles because one of the singles had to be used as seating for the dining table.
