"It was closed your Pic was from a year ago it is covered in scaffolding and not open for 6 months I paid in advance and had to pay again at a sister Hotel (Raddisson) who demanded £2900. when I had pd over £3400 to Expedia. "Lovely hotel that is ideally situated in a lovely square with cafes and restaurants within easy reach of the main town. Good facilities and it is worth having a castle view room. Good choice at breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and hot choices. Staff are friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for my 60th Birthday stay especially Alistair on Reception. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh. "
