"Reasonable price for Philadelphia. Parking was more affordable than many hotels but was 2 blocks away and did not like walking alone from garage at night. Room was small and bed was smaller than expected. But overall room was nice. Staff was incredibly nice. They have complimentary happy hour with yummy cookies. Weird thing is that if you are not out of your room by 12:15 pm, they charge you for the next day."

"The Apple Hostel is run by young people from around the world who understand hostel culture fluently. They are friendly, hospitable, relaxed, and service-oriented. There is a high quality shared kitchen, they offer local dining recommendations, and they do special mini-events every night (free soda, free beer, etc).
