"This hotel was one of the most affordable in Taos the night I stayed, so I really wasn’t expecting much. Upon check-in, the front desk staff informed me she had “upgraded” my room at no charge. The room was beyond awesome, the size of a full apartment, with a small kitchen, patio, living room area, fireplace, murphy bed, huge comfortable california king size bed, beautifully handcrafted furniture and beautiful natural wood details on the ceiling and throughout the room. "Everything was very nice, except the bed had stains on the bedspread, and the shower was extremely old, and chipped. We loved the breakfast that was offered. The shuttle driver who took us downtown was wonderful!! He showed us around town first, since he knew we weren’t in a hurry. The staff was very helpful. "
