We cancelled and lost our money fees for our dog ridiculous so we just lost our money and went to a La Quinta which was cheaper than dog fees. The staff was very condescending that said we could cancel no problem but we both knew we would end up losing the money. And sometimes for us not dealing with the attitude is worth losing money.

Our last night on a three day drive from WI to Phoenix, AZ and we were exhausted. This hotel was a beautiful and unexpected surprise in ABQ as we only wanted a safe, comfortable place to lay our heads with secure parking for our U-Haul. Now we want to come stay for a future visit to explore ABQ!

We stayed here on our way to AZ and on our way back. Each time we pulled up to valet no one was there and we had to find a bell cart. Hotel was cheap so makes sense why services weren’t great but maybe it shouldn’t be rated as a 4 star hotel.

Love staying at Hotel ABQ! Everyone is so nice, friendly, and helpful! Easy access to the interstate, walk to Old Town, lots of nearby restaurants, and the Sawmill Market across the street plenty of places to eat inside there. Highly recommend staying here

This is a lovely hotel; nice atmosphere and aesthetics. Large room, good bed. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the boiler for hot water, so we had cold showers the first morning (customer service made it right at check-out, and we appreciate that). The restaurant, Gardunos, has pretty good food; however the evening service isn't great. Wish we would've been around for the flamenco! All in all, I recommend this hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel with its historical ambience. Staff overall was good but there was one lady who was not willing to help with my request until I told her that my traveling buddies were just granted their request. Too bad I forgot to get her name.

This beautifully appointed hotel is ideally located just south of I-40 at the north end of Old Town Albuquerque. Restaurants, galleries, shops, the beautiful plaza are all within walking distance for those with strong legs. It is an easy drive to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center with its fine museum, weekly events, and indigenous cafe. With I-40 right at hand, it’s also easy to take a day trip to Acoma Pueblo’s Sky City and other pueblos. The hotel is a gracious, open space, the lobby offering a soaring beamed ceiling, huge chandeliers, lots of comfortable seating for conversation. Staff are friendly, helpful, and ready to serve. Our 9th floor updated king bed room was spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable, with a splendid view across the city to the Sandia Mtns. Our one disappointment was the hotel restaurant and bar. We only ate there once because the service was so poor and the food mediocre. Our server seemed anxious to please but was either inexperienced or poorly trained, and without apparent supervision. It took 20 minutes for two glasses of wine to arrive at our table near the bar; by then our dinner salads had arrived without dressing. The restaurant itself is conveniently located off the hotel lobby but seemed out of place in an otherwise gracious, upscale hotel. We will gladly stay at the Hotel Albuquerque again, but will dine elsewhere.
