However, I was so frustrated because after i did my check in and relaxing at my room they came to tell me that i had to leave the hotel because Hotels.com made a mistake and sold me a room that was already booked! "It was alright as far as hostels go. Unfortunately during my stay the bathroom and the elevator both were out of order - I decided to end my stay early and get a room at a hotel. It was clean, though!"

"Clean, safe and quiet! Very convenient for a short stay in Chiang Mai, easy to get around and close to airport. I took off a star because the dining options were confusing - in order to have breakfast at the hotel you have to book it in advance the day before. But luckily the area around is very walkable so I found dining options elsewhere "

"We had a great stay at the Chaya. In particular the staff were all very friendly and attentive. As for the room, it was very clean, spacious and kept to a high standard. We didn’t have breakfast and didn’t tour the local area so can’t comment, but for the pool and the room we would highly recommend this hotel. Short taxi away from the airport and the Old town and local enough for tours to collect us from the hotel. "
