"Used to be a luxury gem, now abandonned and secluded where you will be the only guest in a kind of ghosty atmosphere, however in a unique setting and in a clean and spacious well decorated suite with big balcony. The hotel is right opposite Dara Dhevi which is an experience to see and visit for dining out. The hotel staff are in fact staff at the popular (japan + chinese) restaurant that is run from the same location. You will be left on your own."

"This is a quaint smaller boutique resort outside the city - and it helped at the end of the day when one needs the quiet and silence away from the business of the day. The hotel offers airport pickup and drop off, an ample breakfast continental or Asian and in a pinch when hungry - someone will cook a simple meal at night. "We stayed at the Marriott during Songkran, and it was just perfect walking distance to the most and also the food market. The holiday was to celebrate my 50th and the hotel staff made it special with a lovely cake and treats. The 1 bedroom suite was huge, with a corner bath and a dressing room too. The staff was some of the best we encountered on our trip to Thailand. I also highly recommend upgrading to lounge access (executive), very much worth it!"
