"We have stayed here a few times over the last 4-5 years. Staff are very friendly and there is a vibrant atmosphere in the public areas. Room was clean and quiet with all the facilities we needed and the breakfast provided was varied and a big bonus. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the double bed was quite uncomfortable due to a dip in the mattress. This was a shame as even budget hotels now offer king sized mattresses and bedrooms are refurbished regularly. I wonder whether the...

"Hotel was nice however a few buts in the room were tired and need replacing. Bath tub had a chip on the bottom. Paintwork needs refreshing"

"Unfortunately they are renovating the restaurant so limited menu in the bar. Also had to change lunch to another restaurant as they were drilling so too noisy. This will be finished in a few days though, and as I have stayed here before I know this is not normal and I will certainly continue to stay at the Priory and would recommend it. "

"It's a lovely Inn, highly recommended, my husband and I were happy to stay there for a night during our trip from Wales, the property was recently refurbished and has everything you need for a stay, the bed was super comfortable. Our only comment for improvement would be to make water a bit hotter in the shower/bath. Thank you "
