"Our family spent one night at this traditional Ryokan during our time in Kyoto. The service was impeccable, from the moment the shuttle bus picked us up at the train station and throughout our stay. A designated staff member greeted us, offered us tea, and then went over the amenities of the property with us. We reserved the private onsen so we could enjoy it as a family (regular communal onsen is not coed). The onsen is a natural outdoor hot spring with medicinal benefits! Dinner and breakfast were nutritious and delicious, and the mats we slept on on the tatami floor offered a comfortable night of sleep. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The only way to get out here is by shuttle. This was not explained anywhere, and we were lucky we asked when we were at Kameoka station. It's a beautiful area, but the building itself is a little dated (80s)."
