"Quiet place but kind of remote, a decent walk to get down to the Lake. The facility has no elevator but is only two floors. Most of the restaurants in the area close early and the hotel doesn’t have a Cafeteria / Restaurant, just vending machines and a concession stand."

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

The traditional homemade Japanese breakfast was delicious. The other guests staying at the property were friendly and it was wonderful to spend a meal together. "The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings.
