"We had a very brief stay and it was clean, comfortable and as described on the website. Very happy. About 8-10 min walk from train station, beautiful walk over the footbridge. Only issue is lack of restaurants after 19:00 and we never received our code to check in to the room-luckily staff was onsite to quickly assist!"

"The property was very clean, compared to other hotels that we’ve rented in Japan. I thought this was a little bit pricey. They also do not have any dining on the property. You must go off to find something to eat. They have a coffee shop, but it does not open until 10 AM in the morning 11 AM check out time "

"Very Nice property and great location. Clean and modern with comfortable beds and large enough space. Only 2 small complaints. 1. The bath towels are very small and thin. Not the same level that you would find in a hotel, they are just a little larger than a hand towel. 2. And another problem that I have been censored to mention."

"The up side is that the property is a lovely, cozy apartment that is equipped with everything that one would need to be comfortably self-sufficient. The down side is that one must be self-suffient. "The private onsen was amazing, refreshing, and relaxing. The 12 course breakfast and dinner was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and had the shabu shabu hot and crab dinner the next. The staff was superb. All our needs were met and exceeded customer service. The whole place was clean and quiet. Perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This experience was a very memorable one. Thank upu Hakone Airu. We hope to be back again very soon. "

"Booked this room for the private onsen and it was quite a lovely experience. We brought our luggage to them early in the morning and asked them to hold it until our check in so we could explore and after we checked in and made it to our room they sent someone to bring the luggage up. There was a breakfast buffet included with our room and it had a really nice variety of foods from western to Japanese. Staff spoke great English "
