"All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. We booked a room for 3 adults which was clean, really large and spacious with partial views of the lake. Shower was great, really powerful.Variety of teas, coffees and biscuits to choose from in the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety to choose from from continental and cooked breakfast. Hotel grounds are beautiful, well kept and cared for. "

"We had a lovely overnight stay and booked spa treatments. The outdoor pool is wonderful and the indoor spa facilities are excellent. Great breakfast. Buxton is quiet but that suited us. Great Thai restaurant round the corner too. "

"Very good value for money. Hotel and B&B prices are on the pricier side in this area and this hotel is very fairly priced, we had a lovely twin room and bathroom and freshly cooked breakfast. Parking was just £6.50 for 24 hours. Location is excellent, just across the road from Buxton Opera House. Would stay again!"

"Upon arrival the place is just stunning, came to pay for the room only to be told no cash, nothing jumps out on the website to say it’s cashless. This was disappointing to us due to my husband selling motorbike we thought we treat ourselves to a little spa and a night away with the cash., luckily we did have our credit card with us if we didn’t have this we would have in stuck!
