"Stopped overnight on way to London. Room was clean and suitable for a couple or single. Breakfast was superb. Everything catered for. Free overnight parking. Swimming pool and gym. Excellent value for money. "

The rooms were a bit dated but in good condition, mattress was not the best. Food quality was good and both food and drink decent value. The location is really nice with a lake at the front and a canal to the back. Overall very pleased and would certainly stay again."

"My wife and I have just enjoyed an excellent stay at the Stone House Hotel while visiting friends and family in the area. We had a warm welcome from check-in onwards - every member of staff showed the same polite, helpful manner wherever they worked. The meals were very nice with an amazing selection of traditional English food and also extensive Indian cuisine, all served in two adjacent dining rooms. And the breakfasts were wonderful - what a way to start the day! We found everything to our liking - no room for improvement! Thank you everyone! "
