Not a bad stay, the rooms were OK and clean, the staff were helpful. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired and could probably make all the difference to be honest. Make it more of a restaurant and less of a school canteen.

The kitchen wasn't working, so no dinner available. The surrounding area didn't have that much to offer, so a bit disappointing. Breakfast was also middling. The religious poster in the lift was a bit off-putting.

Good value, great location and clean
Very clean and friendly. Staff helpful. Room and beds comfy. Lovely air con room. Good shower, good variety for breakfast. Occasionally hard to find staff late evening, but overall ideal location only 5 min walk from station.

The lady on reception on Sunday evening was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. She is an example of what a receptionist should be like. Everything else was fine. It was good to be able to have something to eat and drink when we arrived - as you mention on your website.

Staff friendly as usual but I specifically booked a double room as being a larger build single beds just aren’t big enough for me. However, told only twin rooms available and I “could push the beds together”. But you can’t as there a shelf screwed to the wall between the beds. Being awake all night also gave me change to spend hours staring up at the numerous cobwebs around the wall above me I would now avoid this hotel based on room booked and paid for not being provided and hence me not sleeping
