"We appreciated the location, view and cozy guesthouse. We wanted to be close to the university as we were visiting our son. The kitchen windows and main entrance face the main home so there is less privacy but that wasn’t a big issue for us. The best highlights of the home for me was the great view, easy parking, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, warm fireplace in master, and comfortable seating in the living area. "This was the perfect place for us to stay at while we were visiting the area. It was a central location to be able to do day trips to Eureka, Arcata, Trinidad and Fern Canyon. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful backyard. The street is pretty dark so be careful when driving. The listing is accurate. Two of the rooms are connected, but can be seperated a sliding barn door. The only thing I wish there was more of was bath towels or access to the washing machine/ dryer. I would...

"A clean and maintained property. The proprietor seems to put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and livable. I enjoyed having a full kitchen and basic ingredients (spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, etc.) without having to buy full quantities. Some older details need work like the shower faucet. It was tricky to figure out how to change the temp. Loved having a laundry facility and free parking! All in all a great little spot to call temporary home. Would book again. "
