"The motel itself was great. The neighborhood it's located in was probably great years ago, but there are a lot of homeless people all over, even in the housing areas. It was not a problem, but you feel like you have to be on alert at all times. Our business was far away from all that. On a positive note the motel facilities were excellent. Pool, gym, and were largely unused by anybody, but we checked them out, and they were very clean and modern. "

Bar soap for sink and hanging refillable body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bath/shower combo (smells like coco butter). External facing rooms, pool in separate building, main lobby and breakfast in first building. Enough parking but not ideal for semi trucks, motorhomes or moving trucks. Near fast food and sit down diner. Just off highway 101, east to access. Appears to possibly have vagrant...

There is a small but visible "homeless" population wandering around at the first level where the cark park was. The neighborhood was also aging, but there were some restaurants open that were not too far away after dark."

"This Studio 6 had a 2 burner induction stove a mid size fridge freezer, microwave toaster coffee maker and was comfortable. Don't recommend the studio 6 south in Bakersfield though."
