We only stayed two nights and ate out, but the kitchen would have been great if we had a chance to cook more. The cleaning product smell was strong when we arrived so needed to air out a bit. "This was a prime spot with unobstructed views of the ocean (great for spotting whales!), direct beach access and within walking distance to everything you need. "Velas Vallarta is a beautiful old fashion Mexican resort. Very well maintained. Beautiful gardens with fish ponds and 3 swimming pools linked by a river pool. Nice warm water. 2 restaurants.
