Nice big spacious room, big comfortable bed, though there seemed to be an extra duvet and cover half put on and dumped on the side which seemed odd, but didn't pose any obstruction, just odd that it seemed to be there. Familiar with Manchester so the location was ideal for being central and getting about."

"I know that Marriott encourage associates to greet guests with an appropriate greeting but I didn't really appreciate the young man that checked us in greeting me with "Hiya Mate". I am 61 and I was raised in Manchester. I think that is just plain rude. Staff in the Great Room were not attentive or switched on. My daughter ordered Vegetable Jalfrezi and received Chicken Curry."
