"Our room was on the end of our building and we had a wake up view of the top of the mountains. We walked to the short Governor’s Trail the afternoon we arrived. It’s pretty steep, but easy overall and perfect to get moving after a 4hr drive over. It’s a good climb Very easy access to the Hooker Lake Trail and well worth the price for a one night stay. They assign a parking spot for your unit and someone took ours when we were away at dinner so we parked in the laundry spot and our neighbor experienced the same issue. Simple rules folks."

"Our eoom was very spacious. View right across from the lake. Clean room, comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again! My wife refused to leave until our last minute. She wanted to enjoy every second until the end. "

"Only got to stay 1 night but we were really happy with Mantra Lake Tekapo. We had a large 2 storey house with 3 spacious rooms and good bedding options. I was impressed that it was the first place, we've stay on our entire trip, that had 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets! Much needed for a family of 5 or more. The pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance but the Tekapo Pools were not far up the road and had great views. The lake itself and main shops is close by, easy walking. So pretty! Dining is limited but a few options and there is a good grocery store there too. "

"Our second time staying here on our NZ trip and just as enjoyable as the first. Lovely jig, older style hotel with plenty of room. Nice breakout areas to have a read, look at the sights or have a quiet drink. Room was spacious, very comfortable and breakfast buffet included in accommodation. Good Al a carte menu or buffet for dinner. Another great place to stay and extremely friendly and helpful staff. "

"All the facilities that you need. Clean bedding and comfortable bed. I was in the cabin with lots of bunk beds and they were good. Kitchen and BBQ facilities were great. The views were unbelievable. Just wow! "
