"This was the perfect place for our getaway. The property was fantastic. The cabin was wonderful full of interesting history about the Chicken Ranch and everything we needed to cook and relax. Jan was wonderful and always responsive. The best part for us was being able to let our dogs off leash to run and hike the numerous trails. We will definitely return "

"We had an absolutely amazing time during our stay at the Ranch. The friendliest duo Shadow and Bootsy greeted us as we pulled up to the barn. Wonderful donkeys and goats just loved to get food and treats. Shadow the gorgeous farm dog took us down the road to our stay and Bootsy the fabulous farm Pig was not far behind. "We enjoyed staying in the Bergstrom! Such a cute little house in a nice, peaceful neighborhood. We weren’t at the place much, but whenever we were, we had a great time. Our only issue was that the toilet wouldn’t flush sometimes, but we figured something out with that. We would definitely stay again! "

"We were in town for the F1 race in Austin and this was a perfect location for that event. Very little traffic no matter what time we traveled there. The house is in a great location along the Colorado River with gorgeous sunrise view. Owners have made sure that you’ll have everything you need for a great stay!"

"We stayed for 5 days in Austin. Our family also had another tiny home Nextdoor to the one we stayed in. The home was conveniently located, about 15-20 minutes from downtown. The house was very comfortable for us, we had 3 people in ours and 4 in the other house. The accommodations met all of our needs with a full kitchen and living space. The kids loved staying there as they had their own space as well. They got to swim and play outside on the lawn area. I would highly recommend these units."

"It’s a lovely spot to unwind and disconnect. The property was impeccably clean, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a drive from Austin, so Bastrop is the best place for food or groceries. There’s no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal retreat from reality. The only downside was that during our stay we heard some loud music from a nearby bar, which was audible from the cabana. It was manageable, but light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. Thank you for the cookies! "

"This place is amazing. Shocking how much you can fit in 399sq ft. We had the best time and was really hard to leave!! 10/10 recommend especially with kids, they go crazy for the loft!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house and the grounds are beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes... we were able to stay in and cook all our meals there. The smores welcome pack was awesome. We spent most, if not all, of our nights around the fire pit just enjoying nature and lots of smores. There is a huge bathtub in the master bath, my 5 year old niece enjoyed her nightly "swim" (and the tub was never more than half full). We had six people total and had to let the water...

"Loved the tiny home, thought it was going to be hot on this hell summer but it was surprisingly really cold and comfy. really white, so white that the walls can easily get stained and imprinted. what we did not like is that we advertised we would be staying 6 people there, 4 adults and 2 kids, and there were towels and toiletries for 2 adults. Not too big of a deal we came prepared. we wanted to wash the towels and there was not a pod around. Also out of the 2 nights we stayed, the Saturday...

"This is a great spot in the country with an easy commute to Austin. Had a great stay. Be prepared to hotspot if you need to work while there. Don’t let that deter you though, as it wasn’t a big deal."

"My husband and I stayed at The Reserve for a long weekend trip to Austin, Warrenton, and the surrounding areas. The Reserve was a GREAT in-between spot for all of our weekend activities. My ONLY regret was that we had so many other things going on and was unable to spend more time on the property. Jeanne and Bubba were incredible hosts and no detail went attended to. We can NOT wait to return and will be planning our second trip soon! "

"This yurt was exactly what my boyfriend and I needed this past weekend. The pictures of this place do not do it justice, this yurt is practically brand new and very spacious. The owners of this property spared no expense and really thought of everything to include for you! My boyfriend and I stayed here for Formula One weekend, and it was so wonderful to not have the traffic and stress of Austin, only the trees and relaxation of Bastrop. We will definitely be back!"
