"I found this beautiful place when looking for a short one night stay to visit surrounding areas during the day. The communication between the property owner was excellent! We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, saw some deer pass through and listened to all of the birds nearby. Great experience and the option for a one night stay was a huge plus!! "

"The place is on the river. It is clean and has everything you can think of just not TV. In the dark it is dark and hard to find. But you are on the river. AC works great. Hot water is hot. Beds are comfy. Theres a hammock in the living room just no TV. "

"We went with a rather large group; this place was perfect and accommodating! The first time i stay somewhere that had more then enough towels, blankets, trash bags, all paper products and toilet paper! Besides food; we didn’t have to buy anything. I hate to rent a place for a long weekend and they supply you with only 2-3 toilet papers. Also, the location was amazing! Bill made sure we had a great experience and our time there was so enjoyable and memorable!!!! 10/10!"

"We had an Amazing time. Fishing, grilling, smores. Access to the 3 boats, Solostove, Cabin was stocked with our needs. Host doesn't skimp at all with most everything you'd need, so don't pack to much cuz it's already there. So much wildlife. We had 5 Deer come up for water, numerous species of birds at the feeder. So quiet & Relaxing. We'll definitely be going back to the Best getaway property we've stayed at yet.Precious Memories To Cherish absolutely Gorgeous "

"This was the perfect place for our getaway. The property was fantastic. The cabin was wonderful full of interesting history about the Chicken Ranch and everything we needed to cook and relax. Jan was wonderful and always responsive. The best part for us was being able to let our dogs off leash to run and hike the numerous trails. We will definitely return "

"Amazing property with an amazing experience you can enjoy your entire stay. The cabin was beautiful and secluded with a view of the pastures and a friendly horse that visits the front porch. "Cabin was very clean, the view was phenomenal and it was nice feeling off the grid. We fished a ton every day with lots of luck. Wide variety of exotic animals to watch throughout the property. Would be very fun to visit during summer to take advantage of the pool. The listing on VRBO can be slightly confusing. There is a room that list two queen beds which only has one and upstairs living room that lists king is an air mattress. These beds we were using for kids, so we were able to make it...
