"I booked a suite room for my birthday as a treat to myself. I wanted to spend my birthday weekend near the beach, even if it was in January. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the property. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly. My room had a beautiful view of the wharf. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend checking this hotel out."

"This is how a hotel should be run. Its clean, the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are well stocked with coffee and the room is not excessively cleaned every day. I dislike towels washed every single day even if they have not been used. They are ask you to call house keeping if you need a room cleaning. The breakfast was very good, hot options, and loads of coffee. Staff ran around making sure everything was well stocked and clean."

"I was happy with the stay other than the strict parking. It’s a shame that la hacienda just lets this tow company pray on people. My friend stopped by briefly and got his car towed which is ridiculous because there is so many free parking spots. I can understand if a car was parked there for more than 24 hours but his car was there for just a couple hours if that. People coming to this hotel are coming here because it’s affordable; they can’t afford to pay the tow yard fees which was almost $500 plus it goes up every hour it’s in the tow yard. Crooks "
