"Very nice hostle. I have not stayed in many hostels in the States but this was one of if not the nicest.The location is a bit out of the way, and way far from where I came from (another hotel in LA); but found the local restaurants interesting enough. Coffee in the morning would have been a nice touch. Getting buzzed in to wait in the yard 1/2 an hour before ckin rather than outside on the sidewalk with bags might have been appreciated as well. "I rented room 316. The room is modern and everything worked perfectly in the room. Plenty of fast hot water for the shower. Check in/out persons were very nice. All of the other persons renting rooms, I met walking up/down the stairs and in the breakfast area, were extremely friendly. Samesun is a totally FUN place to rent a room. I plan to rent a room again in the future. "

"Bed bugs in the rooms, people are racist and have their families living there with babies crying all night. I asked one of them to please keep it down after 12am and he wanted to fight me and kept threatening me! They’re all Turks and stink and are the most racist people. Such a horrible experience "

"Venice Breeze is an older building, but modernized/updated. It was right in the center of everything Venice Beach and a couple mile walk from Santa Monica. If you like the "hippie" or Bohemian culture, you will love this area! Staff was very friendly, and helpful. We did have to park about 8 blocks away to find free parking, or you can pay to park closer. "
