"Spent a lovely Christmas break here with family. We had prompt, thorough and attentive communication from Stef and Nikki both before and during our stay. It’s a good idea to read through the house manual beforehand; this has comprehensive instructions and info. We found the place to be a bit chilly on arrival, but it gradually warmed up once we’d set the Nest controls and started the gas fire. Ditto for the hot water. Hosts provided additional heaters for the ground floor bedroom as there was a problem with the radiator there - this issue was quickly resolved. The hot tub is great, but bear in mind it may not be ready for your first night. Kitchen is a delight and very well-equipped for all our Christmas dinner preps etc. Great to have a choice of dining areas, including the conservatory one which was lovely. The master bedroom / suite is amazing! We were sad to leave - had a message asking if we’d like to extend our stay but I think this must be auto-generated as when we enquired, found it was fully booked. Not surprising!"
